Will Pass was born in South Africa, grew up in England and Kansas, and now lives in Colorado with his wife, son, two cats, and one very good dog.

Before writing fiction, he worked as a landscaper, garbage man, janitor, third-party logistics operator (?), climbing bum (!), and veterinarian in Las Vegas.

His first novel, The Second-Smartest Dog That Ever Lived, is a genre-bending comedy about captivity, intelligence, and the wild contradictions of domesticated life. He is published by Thiessen Press.

Will also created Booktrovert.org, a retro, haunted satire of book marketing where the same book has been featured every day since 1997 (his). It now hosts the Book Jacket Bracket, a weekly contest where readers literally judge books by their covers.
